Abstract:High voltage electrical equipment and transmission lines play an important role in power grid transmission engineering.Due to the influence of various natural environments,their own processes,and material defects,the insulation performance continuously decreases during operation.When the insulation medium cannot withstand the applied voltage,partial discharge phenomena are triggered.In order to detect partial discharge of equipment and evaluate its operating status.This article develops a high-voltage equipment partial discharge detection system based on ZYNQ 7020 processor with dual channels of ultraviolet and visible.Designed the hardware circuit of the system for capturing dual channel images.And use image processing algorithms to preprocess ultraviolet and visible images,and then achieve image registration and fusion,so that the final output of the imaging system can not only reflect the discharge spot information of the device,but also obtain the background information of the discharge site.And equipped with 4G wireless transmission function,corresponding software has been developed.Realize closed-loop autonomous detection of partial discharge throughout the entire process.
