Abstract:In view of the problem of how to obtain the real-time state of inverter accurately and reliably by PLC in the current industrial automation production, a PLC and inverter communication system based on TIA Portal software configuration is proposed. The communication system uses Siemens S7-1500 PLC and SEW frequency inverter to establish data interaction through the Profinet bus, enabling PLC to obtain the frequency, output current, speed, effective power and fault code of each inverter in real time. The hardware selection, wiring and software configuration and communication program of the communication system are described in detail. By carrying out the actual operation of the communication system, verifying the functions of the system, the analysis and operation results conclude that the system communication effect is good, reliable, stable and meets the needs of the system design.
