Abstract:Wireless power transfer (WPT) systems have the advantage of being safer and more efficient compared to plug-in systems. In this paper, we propose an S-CC compensated constant voltage WPT system, and analyze its design method to achieve load-independent constant voltage output and zero voltage switch (ZVS) operating under zero phase angle (ZPA). The proposed S/PS compensation system contains only three compensation capacitors and no compensation inductor at the receiver side, which saves space, weight and economic cost of the system. At the end of this paper, an experimental prototype with 60V output is built and the experimental results are consistent with the theoretical analysis, which verifies the feasibility of the proposed system.
